Hubeu is currently in early development. These terms reflect our current capabilities and commitment to fair practices as we build toward full feature parity.

1. Agreement to Terms

By using Hubeu, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our service. These terms are governed by Finnish law and EU regulations, with Hexer Network Oy as the service provider.

2. Description of Service

Hubeu provides web application deployment and hosting services exclusively within the European Union. Our current capabilities include:

3. Account Registration

To use Hubeu, you must:

  • Provide accurate email address for account creation
  • Be at least 16 years old (or have parental consent under GDPR)
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account
  • Accept that account features may evolve during early access

4. Acceptable Use Policy

  • Provide feedback to help improve our platform

❌ What You Cannot Do

  • Host illegal content or violate EU, Finnish, or applicable laws
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Engage in spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
  • Mine cryptocurrency or run resource-intensive background processes
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our infrastructure
  • Violate intellectual property rights
  • Host content that violates our community guidelines
  • Abuse our early access program for competitive intelligence

5. Pricing and Payment

Early Access Pricing

During early access, most features are available at no cost. Paid tiers will be introduced as we add enterprise features and scale our infrastructure.

  • Early access is free while we build and refine features
  • Fair usage limits apply to prevent abuse
  • No credit card required during early access phase
  • Advance notice before any paid features are introduced

Planned Pricing (2026)

  • Freemium model with generous free tier
  • Paid plans for advanced features and higher limits
  • Billing in Euros (€) through EU-based payment processors
  • Transparent pricing with no hidden fees
  • Early access users will receive preferential pricing

7. Data and Privacy

Your data belongs to you. We are merely the processor:

  • You retain all rights to your content and application data
  • We store data exclusively in EU data centers (Hetzner, Scaleway, Supabase EU)
  • We comply with GDPR and Finnish data protection laws
  • You can export or delete your data at any time (manual process during early access)
  • We don't sell or share your data with third parties
  • Automated data portability tools coming in 2026

8. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You own your content. By using Hubeu, you grant us only the necessary rights to:

  • Host and serve your content to end users
  • Make backup copies for reliability and disaster recovery
  • Provide technical support when you request it
  • Process and deploy your applications through our infrastructure

Our Platform

Hubeu's platform, code, and trademarks remain our property. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of our service. However, we may open-source certain components in the future.

9. Early Access Limitations

As an early access platform, please understand that:

  • Features may change, be added, or temporarily unavailable
  • Data migration tools may be limited during development
  • Support response times may vary as we scale our team
  • Some features advertised may not yet be fully implemented
  • We may need to reset or migrate data during major updates (with advance notice)
  • Beta features carry additional risk and should not be used for critical production workloads

10. Termination

By You

You can delete your account at any time via email request. No questions asked, no retention tactics. During early access, account deletion is manual but will be automated by 2026.

By Us

We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, but we'll always:

  • Provide reasonable notice when possible (minimum 7 days for violations)
  • Allow you to export your data before termination
  • Explain the specific reason for termination
  • Offer a chance to resolve violations when appropriate
  • Provide appeals process for disputed terminations

11. Limitation of Liability

We strive for high reliability, but early access software isn't perfect. During early access, our liability is limited to the best effort restoration of service. As we introduce paid plans, liability will be limited to amounts paid. This doesn't affect your statutory rights under EU consumer protection laws.

12. Dispute Resolution

Got a problem? Let's talk it out:

  • First: Contact our support team at support@hubeu.com
  • If unresolved: We'll try mediation through EU dispute resolution mechanisms
  • Legal action: Finnish courts have jurisdiction, Finnish law applies
  • EU consumers: You retain rights to local consumer protection agencies

13. Changes to Terms

During early access, we may update these terms more frequently as we add features. We'll notify users via email at least 14 days before changes take effect. For major changes post-launch, we'll provide 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
